THERAPISTS:
Our Physical and Occupational Therapists
all share the expertise of Manual Therapy with the integration
of Myofascial
Release, Craniosacral
Therapy, Visceral
Manipulation,
Lymph Drainage and NeuroStructural
Therapy. We have received a lot of our post graduate training
for these techniques through The
Upledger Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, (an international
training center for holistic health care practitioners under the
direction of John Upledger, DO). Each of us has also expanded
our training in other techniques and approaches to develop our
own unique style of holistic manual treatment coupled with client
education and exercise programs.
With the same philosophy
and core treatment approach, we work closely together as a team.
We make use of the wealth of experience we have as a group, as
well as individually, with the focused goal of helping our clients
along their path of recovery towards optimum health.

Cynthia
S. Rowe, PT
Cindy@RowePT.com
Cynthia
S. Rowe, PT is a 1977 graduate from
Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical
Therapy. She established Rowe Physical Therapy and Associates
in 1986 after having a life threatening ruptured cerebral aneurysm
in 1985 that had to be surgically repaired. Her recovery was arduous
initially until she got the invaluable help from John Upledger,
DO. With the guidance of Dr. Upledger and his vast knowledge,
experience and expertise in holistic healing, Cindy embarked on
a different recovery path that included Craniosacral Therapy and
related techniques.
As she began to recover
from her trauma and surgery she decided that she wanted to develop
an expertise as a holistic Manual Physical Therapist. Her survival
left her with a vision to open up her own private practice in
order to help others along their journey of body, mind and spirit
healing. Her complete recovery allowed her to fulfill this vision,
as well as to live a fuller life, including a family with two
children, a busy and full time practice to run, and a teaching
schedule.
Cindy integrated a wide
range of manual techniques into a Total Body Approach including
Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation,
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, NeuroStructural Therapy, Energy Work,
Strain and Counterstrain, Joint Mobilization and Muscle Energy
Techniques. With this manual approach to treatment, the office
expanded rapidly to accommodate many people who sought out this
unique holistic physical therapy setting that Cindy had established.
Cindy has developed her
well respected reputation based on her advanced manual skills,
caring nature and positive results. She has been teaching around
the country since 1988 at hospitals and seminars to post graduate
physical therapists and physical therapy students on The Integration
of Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy. Cindy is included
in The Association of Healthcare Educators as the Developer of
the Fascial Mobilization course for The Upledger Institute. She
is considered by her colleagues as an expert clinical specialist
and teacher.
In her "spare"
time, Cindy enjoys exercise, meditation, yoga, biking, skiing,
hiking, travel, connecting with nature, and, of course, her family.
Cynthia S.
Rowe, PT selects her Associates
based on their training, expert skills and clinical specialty
that match her own. She and her Associates strive for no less
than excellence in the quality care they provide.
